Outside of acquisition and service-to-sales opportunities, marketing the service drive empowers dealers to increase incremental revenue in the service drive while promoting customer loyalty by keeping customers engaged long after the initial sale. Look for additional opportunities to market your service drive, such as offering maintenance plans, service and accessory specials and complimentary inspections. Example: "Hi [Customer Name] This is [Employee] the [Title] with [Dealership]. I noticed you were coming in for service in a couple of days, so I was reviewing your account. We've had many customers looking for quality, good condition used [Current Model] like yours. We would be willing to offer you above market value for your current vehicle after performing a quick, no obligation required mechanical inspection, even if you don't purchase from us. Would you be interested in selling your [Current Make]? Let's chat when you're in for service. I will text and call you, as well. See you then!"
