Insights from Partner Dealers: How Mastermind Increases Efficiency, Drives Leads, & Improves CX

What Our Dealer Partners Shared with Us

At automotiveMastermind, we pride ourselves on our belief that we are “never a vendor, always a partner” for dealers as we help them harness the power of data-driven customer loyalty to drive sales and dealership growth. In that spirit, we thought it would be appropriate for us to share some of our own insights into how dealers are using our dealership solutions and what they’ve told us about where we’re making a difference in their business.

Earlier this summer, we sent a survey out to all of our dealer partners to gain insights and learn how we can improve ourselves as a partner. The results showed us that while we’re creating real value for our dealer partners and they value our services more than any of the competitive options out there, we still have room for growth and improvement.

We’re happy more than two-thirds of respondents said Mastermind is “better than any other technology they have used.” And since we compete in a marketplace, it’s good to hear more than three-quarters said our solutions are easier to use than any competitor’s, while 71 percent said our service is better and 73 percent said the technology is more effective than competitors’.

Obviously, we like to hear good things about our people and our services, but at the end of the day our dealers aren’t choosing Mastermind because the technology is better, or the service is excellent. (Although that certainly helps.) They’re choosing – and sticking with – Mastermind because it drives sales and profitability in their dealership.

That makes it so important for us that dealership sales managers see  value, with 60 percent saying their sales team has been at least 50 percent more productive thanks to Mastermind. It’s also been a personal benefit to sales managers, with 65 percent saying it’s made them at least 50 percent more personally effective in a very difficult job.

In part, that’s because one way to become more efficient and effective is to move more quickly, and more than two-thirds of respondents say that since adopting Mastermind, their daily productivity has increased. An amazing 90 percent said Mastermind encourages them to review sales opportunities sooner, speeding up the sales process and increasing the opportunity to make that critical customer connection before it’s too late.

In addition to becoming more efficient and effective, Mastermind also works to drive new opportunities through predictive marketing. That was a standout survey result for us, as an impressive 87 percent of users say Mastermind’s predictive marketing campaigns have been helpful in driving traffic and sales for their dealership.

Yes, it’s good to have a majority of your users saying you’re providing value, and those who don’t report overwhelming improvement say things haven’t changed, not gotten worse. But in the spirit of partnership, it’s important for us to show that we’re listening to what our dealers have to say and focusing on the areas where we can improve.
